Why I Became a Knight:

I’ve been a Knight since 1989. In that time I’ve participated in fundraisers, Tootsie Roll drives, pasta dinners and fish fries, and assisted at the Special Olympics. The reason I joined was to try and get to know my fellow parishioners, as well as my parish, a little better. That goal was accomplished. Many of those people in my original Council that I worked with became good friends, and they still are, even though we are miles away. Regardless of how busy I was at work, there was always someone who could convince me to spend a couple of hours helping at an event. And the more time and effort that I donated, the more I got back in personal satisfaction and knowing I was helping others. The Council at St. Elizabeth Seton is active and dynamic and attended by men doing what has to be done; and having fun doing it. See if you can join us on our journey. (Vince Nirtaut)

Why Join the Knights of Columbus?

Imagine being part of an organization that fills your heart and your mind with the joy of giving to others and the feeling that comes with making a difference. Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic Church, while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life. Come check us out this Monday night in the lower level, ask some questions and make the commitment to begin your journey to Knighthood!
